We've been in Yellowstone four days and there's an Elk carcass about a quarter mile from our campground. There's ravens, eagles and a coyote getting their fill of protein. And that's the pecking order. The eagles chase away the ravens and the coyote chases away the eagles. There's two score of photographers with big lenses waiting patiently for the next one up the pecking order, the grizzly bear. He doesn't show tonight but we'll be there bright and early the next morning with a new memory card and hopes of more excitement and great images.
